Akhilesh pays tributes to Janeshwar Mishra on his 87th birth anniversary

Lucknow, Aug 5 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday paid floral tributes on the statue of former Union Minister Janeshwar Mishra's 87th birth anniversary at Lucknow's Janeshwar Mishra Park.
On this occasion, Mr Mishra's daughter Meena Tiwari and son-in-law Chandrashekhar Tiwari and state president Naresh Uttam Patel also paid floral tributes at his statue along with Legislative Council member SRS Yadav.
Mr Yadav said that Mr Mishra fought relentlessly for the interests of the poor, youngsters, farmers and people from the weaker sections. He also suffered in jail during the opposition in Emergency and protecting democracy. He always used to be at the front in Samajwadi movements.
