Chandigarh, Nov 14 (UNI) Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) supremo and former Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala on Wednesday expelled his son Ajay Singh Chautala from the primary membership of the party.
Ajay Chautala was also removed from the post of state unit secretary general.
INLD Haryana unit president Ashok Arora during a press conference here today said that the decision to this effect was taken in the presence of Leader of Opposition Abhay Singh Chautala. Many senior party leaders and legislators were also present on the occasion.
Lok Sabha MP Dushyant Chautala and his younger brother Digvijay Chautala, both sons of Ajay Chautala, were expelled from the party around two weeks ago.
The INLD has called a meeting of the state executive as well as of MLAs and MPs here on November 17. Ajay Chautala has also called a meeting at Jind on the same day.
