AISSEE opened admission for girl students for the academic sessions 2021-22: Chandola

Chandigarh, Nov 15 (UNI) For the first time, All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) has opened admissions for girl students for the academic session 2021-22 for Class VI (Class 6th) across the country. The All India Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2021-2022 will be held for both boys and girls on January 10, 2021 (Sunday). The entrance examination for Class IX will be held for boys on the same day.
Sharing details in this regard, Principal Sainik School, Kunjpura, Karnal, Colonel V.D. Chandola said that the admission entrance examination which is held every year is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), on behalf of the Sainik Schools Society for admission in 33 Sainik Schools in the country.
Elaborating on it further he said that online applications from boys and girls for Class VI and boys for Class IX are invited for admission in Sainik School, Kunjpura. Thus, boys and girls born between April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2011 (both days inclusive) are eligible for admission in Class VI and boys born between April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2008 (both days inclusive) are eligible for admission in Class IX. Approximately 83 seats for boys and 10 seats for girls in Class VI and 22 seats for boys in Class IX are likely to be available in Sainik School, Kunjpura during this session. The actual number of seats may vary depending upon the number of pass out and withdrawals, he added.
