AGPL contributes Rs 50 Lakhs to DC for dev of medical infra at Vizag

Visakhapatnam, Mar 27 (UNI) Adani Gangavaram Port Limited (AGPL), the deepest and most modern port in the country, on Monday handed over a cheque of Rs. 50 lakhs to Dr. A Mallikharjuna, District Collector of Visakhapatnam, as part of their CSR program to build medical infrastructure and community healthcare services for the people of Vizag.
AGPL, in association with Adani Foundation, also conducted medical camps in the surrounding villages of the port, engaged with government schools, and conducted skill development initiatives for the students, according to a statement.
Speaking on the occasion, AGPL management said," as part of their CSR program, they contributed this amount towards the betterment of society. They are committed to the people of the community by developing infrastructure, livelihood, and healthcare facilities for the underprivileged people.
