ACB produces chargesheet against then Naib Tehsildar in Baramulla

Srinagar, Feb 25 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) produced a charge-sheet against the then Naib Tehsildar of Sopore in the court of Special Judge Anti Corruption, Baramulla, in a bribery case.
A spokesman of the ACB said here Thursday evening that a case was registered on the basis of a written complaint that then Naib Tehsildar was demanding Rs 12000 bribe for transfer of land in the name of complainant.
The complainant said he had purchased 14 marlas of land at Noorbagh Sopore in the year 2009 and get the sale-deed registered by Sub-Registrar Sopore. However, the land was not transferred to his name. He approached the concerned Naib Tehsildar Fayaz Ahmad and requested several times to get the land transferred to his name.
