AAP criticises Cong govt for abolishing concession in exam fee for SC/BC students

Chandigarh, Nov 29 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday criticised Capt Amarinder Singh led Congress government for abolishing concession in exam fee for SC/BC students provided earlier by the government.
The Party termed the move as 'anti-dalit' and 'anti-student' and it also opposed the move of state government to enhance exam fee for general category from Rs 1050 to Rs 1200.
In a statement here, AAP SC wing head MLA Manjit Singh Bilaspur said that the move will make things even harder for the dalits and poor people of state as they already struggling to make both ends meet. He said that the Capt government has abolished the budget head from the state budget this year that is leading a huge burden on the students appearing in class 10th and 12th exams.
