AAP condemns Chandigarh police's action on party's women workers

Chandigarh, Aug 30 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab on Monday strongly condemned the alleged brutal action of Chandigarh Police on the leaders and volunteers of the party's women wing.
The AAP stated that it was extremely shameful and unethical for male personnel and officers of Chandigarh Police to try to stop women protesting peacefully and resort to cane-charge and use of water cannons on them.
The volunteers of the AAP Women's Wing on Sunday were going to gherao the Chandigarh BJP office. To stop the gathering of the AAP volunteers, the Chandigarh Police used water cannons to disperse the crowd.
