Vijayawada, Jul 8 (UNI) The spike in new Coronavirus positive cases continued in Andhra Pradesh as 1062 fresh cases were reported since the last 24 hours taking the total number of active cases to 22,259 while 12 more patients died taking the death toll to 264 in the state.
A health bulletin here on Wednesday said that 27,643 swab samples of people were tested from 9 am on Tuesday to 9 am this morning and of which 1062 persons tested positive for Coronavirus.
Of them, 1051 persons belongs to AP, 9 to other States and two were foreign returnees.
