‘Super Dancer’ to return with season 2 on Sony

New Delhi, July 27 (UNI) Dance reality show Super Dancer, which created a lot of roar worldwide with unique performances by the contestants and their Gurus, will soon return for its second season, officials at Sony entertainment television said today.
Bollywood’s heartthrob Shilpa Shetty Kundra, ace Choreographer Geeta Kapur and Director Producer Anurag Basu will soon resume their seats for the second season of the dance reality show.
On returning to the season 2 as judge, Bollywood Diva Shilpa Shetty Kundra said,’’Excited to get back on the judges seat with my old friends and co-judges Anurag Basu and Geeta Kapur.
Working with these "wonder" kids is a joy and Super Dancer is one show that I looked forward to as a judge and a viewer.
The kids are unbelievably talented, energetic, innocent, come with no inhibitions and that’s the best part about them.
I can’t wait to see the journey of the little wonders who will take forward the legacy of the show and be the next ‘Dance Ka Kal’.
” Choreographer Geeta Kapur also expressed her delight on returning as judge for the show’s second season.
“I am thrilled to be back as a judge on Super Dancer 2 the dance show that gained immense popularity.
Last year, Shilpa Shetty, Anurag dada and I found extremely profound talents from across the country, and this year we hope to take the entertainment level a notch up.
We will soon begin our nationwide hunt for dancing sensations whose moves will inspire and invigorate, whose energy will be contagious and whose commitment will move the nation,”she said.
The show which set a benchmark for dance in its first season will see few gurus being retained from the first season.
The auditions for Super Dancer Season 2 will start soon and will span across 15 cities across the nation.
