‘Milma At School’ to support Govt’s anti drug campaign

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 2 (UNI) Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Limited (KCMMF) has extended support to the state government’s ‘Say No To Drugs’ campaign by formulating a ‘Milma At School’ programme that aims to make available all Milma products on school campuses.
The innovative initiative will be carried out initially in 80 schools, both Government and private, across the state. KCMMF’s unions in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Malabar regions are coordinating with the school administrations and the Parent-Teacher Associations (PTA) in the respective educational institution to implement the initiative.
Under the project, school canteens will be provided with Milma products. The idea is to discourage school children from going out of the campus to buy ice-creams or cool drinks, thereby curb the prospects of their interaction with strangers and also prevent them from consuming junk food.
