Ganesh immersion processions begin across Maha amid drum beats and devotional chants

Mumbai/Pune Sep 25 (UNI) The 12-day Ganesh festival concluded across Maharashtra on Friday, with grand immersion processions of Lord Ganesha idols beginning in Mumbai, Pune, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nagpur and other parts of the state. Devotees bid farewell to Lord Ganesha amid the beats of traditional dhol-tasha drums, showers of gulal and chants of "Ganpati Bappa Morya, Pudchya Varshi Lavkar Ya" (O Lord Ganesha, return soon next year).
