Maximum assistance will be provided to drought-affected fishermen in state: Nitesh Rane

Kolhapur/Sindhudurg, Sep 21 (UNI) Amid the backdrop of the drought-like situation prevailing in some parts of the state, Fisheries and Ports Minister Nitesh Rane has directed that all lakes, reservoirs and other water bodies related to the fisheries department be inspected immediately and a survey held of the potentially damaged areas. An online meeting with all the Assistant Commissioners of Fisheries of the state was held from the Sindhudurg district collectorate under the chairmanship of Rane.
