J&K dismisses teacher under article 311 for POCSO, BNS case

Srinagar, Sep 21 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday dismissed a government school teacher from service with immediate effect and barred him from future government employment, invoking Article 311(2)(b) of the Constitution in connection with a case registered under the BNS and POCSO Act in Kishtwar. The action was ordered by the School Education Department through Government Order issued on September 21, 2026, against Khalid Hussain, Teacher Grade-II at Government Middle School Bumalpora, Gurinalla, in Kishtwar district.
