SUMP: Arunachal Govt stresses dialogue, community participation

Itanagar, Sep 21 (UNI) The Arunachal Pradesh Government has reiterated its willingness to engage in dialogue with communities over the proposed Siang Upper Multipurpose Project (SUMP), amid continuing concerns in parts of Siang and Upper Siang districts. Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday chaired a consultative and interactive meeting with officers and officials from Siang and Upper Siang districts to discuss the proposed project, its significance and various technical aspects.
