Teenager shot dead in Manipur, former CM Biren Singh calls for end to 'endless cycle of violence'

Imphal, Sep 21 (UNI) A 17-year-old boy was shot dead by suspected militants today at Tamenglong district according to police. Police said the boy was walking to Tamei from Takou when he was shot dead. Former Chief Minister N Biren Singh said, "Today, it is 17-year-old NK Wiphenbou. Who will be next?" He added, "The killing of this young student from Upper Takou village, while he was travelling to buy essential commodities, is deeply painful.
