Himachal: 8,600 consumers to benefit as Shahpur MLA opens new power substation

Shahpur (Kangra), Sep 26 (UNI) Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip of the Congress Legislature Party Kewal Singh Pathania on Friday inaugurated a 33/11 KV power substation constructed at a cost of Rs 4.54 crore at Darini in the Dharkandi region of the Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh. Addressing the gathering, Pathania said the substation would benefit around 8,600 consumers across eight panchayats and resolve the long-pending low-voltage problem in the area, besides ensuring a more reliable power supply.
