Heavy rain, thunderstorm likely in Haryana for two days; Punjab may see heavy rain on Sept 27: IMD

Panchkula, Sep 26 (UNI) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places in Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on September 26 and 27, with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds likely to lash the region during the two days. The IMD, in its morning weather bulletin issued on Saturday, said thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 40-50 kmph were very likely at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab on September 26 and 27.
