Railways to acquire 3.1066 hectares in Karnal for Delhi-Panipat-Ambala third and fourth lines

Panchkula, Sept 26 (UNI) The Centre has begun acquiring 3.1066 hectares in Haryana's Karnal district for the 198-km Delhi-Panipat-Ambala third and fourth railway line project, according to a Ministry of Railways notification. The notification, issued by Northern Railway (Construction Organisation) under Section 20A(1) of the Railways Act, 1989, states the Centre's intent to acquire the land for the execution, maintenance, management, and operation of the special railway project.
