Education must go beyond degrees, equip youth with skills: Himachal Governor

Ashok Raina Palampur (HP), Sep 23 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta on Wednesday called for an education system that goes beyond degrees and equips young people with knowledge, skills, confidence, employability and entrepreneurial capabilities. Addressing the Foundation Day celebrations of Shri Sai University at Palampur in Kangra district, the Governor said a university's real identity was defined by its contribution to knowledge, values, research, innovation and society.
