CPI MP demands resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar

New Delhi, Sep 23 (UNI) Communist Party of India (CPI) Rajya Sabha MP P Sandosh Kumar has demanded the immediate resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, alleging that serious questions have been raised over the functioning of the Election Commission of India (ECI). In a press statement issued on Wednesday, Kumar said the allegations concerning the functioning of the poll panel should be subjected to an independent inquiry.
