HP: Nurpur police seize two JCBs, tractor and five trucks in illegal mining crackdown

Ashok Raina Nurpur, Sep 18 (UNI) Nurpur Police have launched a major crackdown on illegal mining activities, seizing two JCB machines, a tractor and five multi-axle trucks from the Chakki Khad area near Kandwal, police said on Friday. Nurpur district superintendent of police Ilma Afroz told UNI that the action was carried out by the CIA Nurpur team on September 17 during routine patrolling and surveillance against illegal activities in the area.
