Rs50-lakh heroin haul in Panchkula; 256 gm seized, Amritsar-to-Tricity supply chain under probe

Panchkula, Sep 18 (UNI) Panchkula Police have arrested a 24-year-old man with 256 grams of heroin, valued at more than Rs50 lakh, and launched a probe into its alleged supply chain from Amritsar to the Tricity, a spokesperson said. The accused, Mohit Kumar of Shyamtuu village in Panchkula district, allegedly planned to divide the consignment into one-gram packets and sell them in Panchkula, Dhakoli, Zirakpur and adjoining areas, police said.
