J&K Assembly to take up resolution seeking TET exemption for pre-2019 teachers

Srinagar, Sep 21 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly is scheduled to take up on the second day of its proceedings a resolution seeking exemption of teachers appointed before January 1, 2019 from appearing in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). School Education Minister Sakeena Itoo will move the resolution in the House, urging the union Government to make the necessary statutory amendment to Section 23 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.
