SC issues notice on Tarun Tejpal's appeal against conviction; also on Goa govt's plea for life term

Parmod Kumar New Delhi, Sep 25 (UNI) The Supreme Court has issued notice to the Goa government on an appeal by former Tehelka editor Tarun Tejpal challenging the Bombay High Court judgment convicting him in the 2013 sexual assault case and sentencing him to 10 years' imprisonment. The court also issued notice to Tejpal on the State government's separate appeal seeking enhancement of his sentence to life imprisonment. A bench comprising Justice M.M. Sundresh and Justice P.B.
