UP: Govt on alert regarding heavy rains: DMs instructed to be extra vigilant

Lucknow, Sep 25 (UNI) In view of the changing weather conditions in the state and the warning of heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning, the Uttar Pradesh government today put the administration on full alert, giving top priority to public safety. As per the instructions, the District Magistrates may, using their discretion, close schools, colleges and non-essential services for the safety of citizens.
