Arunachal Pradesh joins 'Namami Bharatam' to commemorate 150 years of Vande Mataram

Itanagar, Sep 25 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh joined the nationwide observance of 'Namami Bharatam' on Friday to commemorate 150 years of Vande Mataram, with 8,251 students, teachers and members of the community participating in programmes held across the state. The Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (ASVS), under Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan, organised the state-wide programme across 49 schools and Ekal Vidyalayas, besides government and private schools that participated through collaborative programmes.
