NTPC and EDF Power Solutions join hands to develop low carbon energy projects

New Delhi, Sep 25 (UNI) NTPC Limited, a Maharatna company, and EDF Power Solutions India Pvt Ltd, a fully-owned subsidiary of French electricity company EDF (Électricité de France), have signed a 50:50 Joint Venture Agreement to develop, own and operate pumped storage projects, hydro power projects as well as other renewable energy (RE) projects and distribution business, within India and neighbouring countries.
