Rajnath to launch publications, IT initiatives of Defence Accounts Department

New Delhi, Sep 30 (UNI) The Defence Accounts Department (DAD) will celebrate its 279th Annual Day in the national capital on October 1, with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh scheduled to launch a series of information technology initiatives and publications of the department. Singh will attend the celebrations at the Dr D.S. Kothari Auditorium, DRDO Bhawan, where he is also scheduled to confer the Raksha Mantri Awards for Excellence 2026 on officers and staff for their exemplary performance and contribution to key initiatives of the Ministry of Defence and DAD.
