Training crucial to building effective police officers: DGP C V Anand

Hyderabad, Sep 30 (UNI) Telangana DGP C V Anand on Wednesday said training is the foundation of a police officer's career and is essential to developing disciplined, competent and effective officers. Addressing 112 probationary DSPs undergoing a 10-month professional course at the RBVRR Telangana Police Academy here, Anand highlighted leadership qualities including courage, vision, integrity, teamwork, impartiality, communication, hard work, digital awareness, innovation and humility. He particularly stressed the importance of ethics and protecting one's reputation throughout a long police career.
