Calcutta HC reserves verdict on ISF's symbol plea

Kolkata, Sep 30 (UNI) With the court reserving its verdict, the hearing on the dispute over the election symbol of the Indian Secular Front (ISF) concluded at the Calcutta High Court on Monday. The dispute arose ahead of the October 6 by-elections in Nandigram in East Midnapore and Rejinagar in Murshidabad. The Election Commission allotted the envelope symbol to Ritajbrata Banerjee's Democratic Trinamool Congress and assigned the almirah symbol to the Indian Secular Front (ISF).
