Three accused in KSCA stadium blast imprisoned to 7 years jail term by NIA Special Court

Bengaluru, Jul 9 (UNI) NIA designated court on Monday sentenced three out of 14 accused in the 2010 M Chinnaswamy Stadium bomb blast that occurred in the city on April 17, 2010, to seven years of imprisonment.
The trio -- Gowhar Aziz Khomani, Kamal Hasan and Mohammad Kafeel Akthar had pleaded guilty before the court after it had rejected their plea for bail and had requested the court for leniency and lesser punishment.
The blast using low intensity explosives on that night just before a IPL match had resulted in 15 people, including five security personnel, sustain minor injuries Public Prosecutor D S Sudhanva said
