Telangana Min urges completion of MS Data Center expansion by 2025

Hyderabad, July 1 (UNI) Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu has urged representatives of Microsoft to complete the expansion work of their data centres by next year and to increase their activities.
The minister stated that once the expansion is completed, Hyderabad will achieve a top position in state-of-the-art data security and cloud solutions.
During a review meeting held on Monday at the Secretariat with Microsoft representatives, the minister addressed land issues related to the data centres and infrastructure. Ranga Reddy District Collector K Sashanka informed the minister about problems with the local panchayat concerning the 22 acres acquired in Mekaguda for the data centre.
