Strict action should be taken against media spokespersons of Pakistanis: Shahriar Kabir

Dhaka, Apr 8 (UNI) President of Ghatak-Dalal Nirmul Committee Journalist Shahriar Kabir said that a commission was formed with the then ACC Commissioner Shahabuddin as its chairman to investigate the human rights violations and abuses against minorities that took place during the tenure of BNP-Jamaat coalition government in Bangladesh from 2001 to 2005.
Speaking with UNI Kabir said that the Awami League government has not yet published the report of that commission. The current Awami League government is protecting the interests of pro-Pakistani Jamaat-BNP, who have taken the side of Pakistan, committing crimes against humanity in 1971.
