Sister Abhaya case: Kerala HC grants bail to convicts

Kochi, June 23 (UNI) The Kerala High Court on Thursday granted bail to convicts Sister Sephy and Father Thomas Kottoor in the sensational Sister Abhaya murder case.
Allowing the applications filed by the convicts, a Division Bench of Justice K Vinod Chandran and Justice C Jayachandran granted the bail on condition of bond amounts of Rs 5 lakh each and two solvent sureties.
They moved the high court after a Special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Court awarded double life sentences to Kottoor and life sentence to Sephy in December 2020.
