New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Delhi Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia on Thursday expressed grief over the demise of environmentalist GD Agarwal, who was on hunger strike to save the Ganga river.
Taking to micro-blogging site twitter, Mr Sisodia, in a condolence message in Hindi, said,”eminent environmentalist GD Agarwal who fought throughout the life to save Ganga river from pollution, death while fasting is a very tragic incident. May his soul rest in peace.”
Activist and lawyer, Prashant Bhushan has also condoled the death of the environmentalist.
