New Delhi, Jun 21 (UNI) Close on the heels of much heated generated over the row involving Sabarimala Sreedharma temple in Kerala, senior parliamentarian from the state N K Premachandran on Friday introduced a Private Member's Bill seeking to maintain 'status quo' as existed on September 1, 2018.
The Sabarimala Sreedharma Sastha Temple (Special Provisions) Bill 2019 was introduced amid thumping of desks.
The draft law seeks to maintain status quo on religious practices of the Sabarimala Sreedharma Sastha Temple as existed on September 1, 2018 and for matters connected therewith.
