Imphal, Mar 19 (UNI) Congress President Rahul Gandhi is expected to arrive here today after his election campaign in Arunachal Pradesh ends.
Arrangements were made for his stay at Hotel Imphal and a team of SPG inspected the places where he will stay and visit. Rahul Gandhi will address a public meeting at Hapta Kangjeibung tomorrow and interact with the students.
The Congress leaders said, Rahul Gandhi will not address any official gathering today but may visit BT park to pay respect to the martyrs who died in the Anglo Manipur War of 1891. If he arrives before dusk the Congress President may visit the iconic women’s market the Khwairamband keithel which is owned and managed exclusively by women.
