Pune's MIT ADT Univ, TERRE Policy Centre launch hackathon 'Atmanirbhar Bharat 2020'

Pune, Jul 10 (UNI) MIT ADT University in partnership with the international NGO TERRE Policy Centre has launched online Hackathon 59 for Atmanirbhar Bharat 2020 (HAB-59), varsity Executive President Mangesh Karad said here on Friday.
The competition has been designed to fill the digital void created after 59 Chinese apps, including the popular short-video sharing platform TikTok, were banned recently.
It aims to reach out to young Indian tech-geeks who have a thirst and resolve to innovate, and who have keen desire to unleash their potential with the fervour. It is directed to leverage India’s young talent for national good and service, at the time when it is required the most, a statement said.
