Mayor constitutes committee to inspect Gaushalas in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, July 28 (UNI) Chandigarh Mayor Davesh Moudgil on Saturday constituted a committee of Councillors and officers of the Municipal Corporation, which will inspect all the Gaushalas/cattle ponds in the city.
Sharing this information here, the Mayor said that it was discussed and decided in its 280th meeting of Finance and Contract Committee of the MCC that a committee be constituted, which will visit all the Gaushalas/Cattle Pond and give recommendations to improve their conditions, upgradation, maintenance and monitoring.
The committee will also visit the nearby cities, where big Gaushalas/Cattle Ponds exist and discuss the matter with them, so that excess cattle can be shifted there.
