Aurangabad, Aug 13 (UNI) At least 1240 positive cases of corona virus were reported across the eight districts of Marathwada region in last 24 hours.
While 27 fatalities were also reported in the eight districts till late Wednesday late night,said sources .
With this, the total number of fatalities reached 1140 in these districts, while COVID-19 tally in the region mounted to 36,169.
On a positive front 22310 patients were cured and discharged.
Rest of the active cases are undergoing treatment at different hospitals and Covid care centres in the region.
The official data collected from all the district headquarters by UNI stated that Aurangabad district recorded highest 328 positive cases and four fatalities, followed by 115 cases and 6 deaths in Beed, six deaths and 59 cases in Parbhani,
Five deaths and 124 cases in Osmanabad,109 cases and three deaths in Jalna ,
27 cases and Two deaths in Latur,three deaths and 99 cases in Nanded and 79 cases in Hingoli district.
