Imphal, Sep 30 (UNI) Manipur government and the people of Manipur paid tribute to the great revolutionary freedom fighter Jana Neta Irabot today.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh unveiled a statue of Irabot at Irawat Square, Lilashing Khongnangkhong, Thangmeiband, Imphal during a state function held to observe the 123rd birth anniversary of Hijam Irabot ( Irawat).
Mass cleanliness campaigns, marathon race, blood donation camps were also taken out to observe the day. Every road was litted with lights to observe the birth anniversary.
