Manipur MP gives consent to release Rs 1 cr from MPLADS

Imphal, Mar 29 (UNI) Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Member of Parliament, 1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency has given his consent for release Rupees one crore) from his next MPLADS instalment for managing COVID 19 in the country.
Ranjan has sent his letter to the Chairman, Committee on MPLADS (LS/RS).

Patna, May 7 (UNI) Despite all efforts of the Election Commission and other stalwarts to attract the voters to the booths to exercise their franchise, polling in the third phase of the elections in five seats namely Jhanjharpur, Supaul , Araria, Madhepura and Khagaria in Bihar had marginal increase of 1.42 percent compared to the second phase of the polling but was still 1.22 percent less than the last Lok Sabha elections held in 2019 in the same five constituencies.

Kolkata, May 7 (UNI) Reacting to the Supreme Court order for interim stay on Calcutta High Court's decision, which declared the entire panel of 2016 SSC teachers' recruitment null and void, the BJP on Tuesday said, " Our stand remains the same for justice to the qualified candidates" in the alleged recruitment scam.
