Manipur ensuring proper quarantine of all returnees

Imphal, May 14 (UNI) Chief Secretary Dr J Suresh Babu today said the government is arranging quarantine of all those who returned from other states because many have reached the state and many more are coming.
He said, 1,081 passengers arrived in the State via train from Chennai, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. All the passengers were moved to the concerned district level quarantine centres after routine medical check up.
Speaking to media persons at Conference Hall, Secretariat today, Chief Secretary clarified that there is no need reason to worry with regard to some passengers which were reported in various social media platforms. The passengers were undergoing quarantine in Imphal and they will be tested properly.
