Mah 'bandh': Criminal cases filed against perpetrators for causing loss of Rs 25 lakh to Govt properties

Nanded, Aug 10 (UNI) The police on Friday filed criminal cases against many persons for allegedly ransacking and causing a loss of Rs 25 lakh to the government properties during Thursday's statewide 'bandh,' called by the Maratha Kranti Morcha, over quota demand.
In Nanded district, during the agitation, about 60 unidentified persons caused damage to six buses, run by the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation, a truck and a jeep belonging to the Child Development Project, another jeep belonging to Degloor tehsil, a private truck and a motorcycle.
