Katra hoteliers demand reservation to senior citizens, handicapped in Helicopter tickets

Jammu, July 19 (UNI) A delegation of Hotel and Restaurant Association of Katra on Thursday demanded reservation to senior citizens and handicapped in tickets for helicopter service operating from Katra to Bhawan in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Led by President Rakesh Wazir, members of Hotel and Restaurant Association called on the new Chief Executive Officer Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Dheeraj Gupta and emphasized him that for the better management of the Yatra and for providing best services to the pilgrims and thereby increasing the Yatra of Mata Vaishno Devi a series of steps including stopping of practice of standing of each and every member of the family in the queue for Yatra slip be stopped because other alternative steps could too serve the purpose without inconvenience to the pilgrims.
Mr Wazir said that the pilgrims of the this age, want to have good facilities and the better management of the institutions and suggested series of steps including proper cleaning of Mata Vaishno Devi tracks on 24 hour basis as was done previously also few years back.
