K'taka team led by min Lad deputed to Odisha train mishap site: CM

Bengaluru, Jun 3 (UNI) A team of officials led by Karnataka Labour Minister Santosh Lad has been deputed to Odisha to ensure the safety of the state's residents who were on one of the trains involved in triple train accident in Balasore.
This was announced by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday here in the city.
"Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has deputed a team led by Minister Shri Santosh Lad to ensure the safety of Kannadigas in Balasore train accident incident. The Chief Minister has sought reports from the Chief Secretary and has directed the concerned officers to visit the spot to ensure the safety of Kannadigas and provide all necessary support to them," the CMO said.
