Iran's IRGC member killed in Syria

Tehran, Mar 26 (UNI) A member of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) was killed in airstrikes in Syria's eastern province of Deir al-Zour early Tuesday, Iranian semi-official Fars news agency reported.
The serviceman, identified as Behrouz Vahedi, was one of the members of the IRGC's Quds Force, who was serving as a "military adviser" in Syria, the report said.
Iranian military advisers have been working in Syria at the invitation of Damascus to help the country "fight terrorism and help establish peace," it added.
