IMFA commits Rs 75 lakh to Cyclone Fani relief efforts

Bhubaneswar, May 7 (UNI) Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) on Tuesday committed Rs 75 lakh for those affected by Cyclone Fani.

Subhrakant Panda, Chairman, FICCI Odisha State Council and Managing Director, IMFA appealed to corporates to contribute generously to help those affected by Cyclone Fani while committing Rs 75 lakh by the company in addition to efforts at the local level.

Mr Panda said: 'While the Central & State Governments have stepped in to alleviate the suffering of people, it is incumbent upon all responsible corporates to lend a helping hand to the relief, rehabilitation and restoration efforts in Odisha. IMFA is committing Rs 75 lakh to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and I appeal to others to come forward.'

Employee volunteers in Choudwar and Sukinda have also been helping those affected in the locality by providing relief material and assisting in the clean up in the aftermath of the cyclone.

Mumbai Feb 10 (UNI) * Saregama, a RPSG Group company, announced its financial results for the Quarter and Nine Months Ended December 31, 2024 and reported the revenue from operation at Rs.4834 Mn grew 100 percent on Q-o-Q basis and 137 pc on Y-o-Y basis, courtesy revenue from Event segment which is Rs.2789 Mn in Q3FY25 as against Rs.100 Mn in corresponding quarter last year.
