Former Karnataka Minister Vaijnath Patil tenders resignation to primary membership of Congress

Kalaburagi, Karnataka, Mar 11 (UNI) As dates for Polling for General elections were announced Congress, which is the coalition partner with JDS in Karnataka, suffered a set back as Former Minister and Hyderabad-Karnataka Horata Samiti President Vaijnath Patil has tendered his resignation to the primary membership of Congress party and deciding to support Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate.
Confirming his move to UNI, Mr Patil on Sunday said that he has already sent his resignation letter to Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Dinesh
Gundurao on March 8. He alleged that the Coalition government in the State has not implemented Article 371 (J) in true spirit and funds were not fully released for the Hyderabad-Karnataka Development Board (HKRDB).

Two JNTUK students selected for prestigious Amazon education programme

Kakinada, May 1 (UNI) Two girl students of CSE first year of JNTUK College of Engineering – G Padmapriya and M. Kavitha - have been selected for the prestigious Amazon Future engineering programme in the National level competition.
