Experts from India, abroad to discuss Kerala’s challenges and efforts to combat cancer: NCDs

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 21 (UNI) Grappling with the rising prevalence of cancer and other non-communicable diseases in Kerala, a galaxy of international experts will come together to evaluate the work done so far and fix the gaps to accomplish the SDG target by 2030.
The issue of NCDs would be debated at length on February 25th as part of the ongoing international health webinar series, titled ‘Kerala Health: Making the SDG a Reality’, organized by the state’s Department of Health and Family Welfare.
Dr Rajendra Badwe, Director of Tata Memorial Centre, Dr. Richard Sullivan, Director, King's College London, and Dr Sankaranarayanan, a France-based WHO-IARC scientist, feature among the list of illustrious speakers who will be discussing the challenges and management of cancers, an issue that is particularly relevant to Kerala.
